My name is Jim Whittlesey and this is my wife, Phyllis. I've been an amateur radio operator since 1990. I was born in El Paso, Texas, and claim my Native American birthright by way of being one of Geronimo's great grandsons. Phyllis is a native Tennessean. Combined, we have three daughters (Karen, Janet, and Missy), two sons (Dale and Keith), and six grandchildren (Meghan, Annika, Elizabeth, RJ, Tyler, and Jackson). I am now the CO-Chapter Head of the Springbok Chapter International of 10-10 with Mike W4ZYD of Abingdon, VA. Phyllis is on the Board Of Directors and one of the Certificate Managers for the Chapter. I'm also proud to be a member and ex-president of the Oak Ridge Amateur Radio Club.
